The Reviews

There are a lot of good ideas in this informative book, but the author tends to quickly gloss over them in favor of moving on to the next topic. While reading I quite frequently thought, "Oh, that's interesting," but then found myself disappointed that the idea wasn't fleshed out as fully as it could be.I would three-quarters-heartedly recommend this book to someone looking to start their own crafting business, but be prepared to supplement the information found in it by doing your own research, either from other books, or from sites on the internet.

I should have researched this book more, but I thought it was going to give me more ideas on what to make that sells, not the whole process of how to sell items. Most of the info that is in this book you can find online, but if you learn better when reading a book this one could help you out.

This book gets right to the point on how and even where, to get ideas on what woodworking projects you may want to sell. Turn your woodworking talent into cash, why not? It's only about 100 pages long and is designed to save you time searching the web for days on end. This book will tell you where to get the information and how to use it. It will even give you a short lesson on how to manage a online business if you've never run your own business. I have bought both the paperback and the $4 download for the Kinde app. Great investment.!

The book gives some good directions to promote one’s business and market the products. This book is good for entrepreneurs on a budget at the initial stages of their endeavor.

For being only 100 pages long --- this little gem is a goldmine of information! I just finished reading it yesterday and it not only provided a great wealth of knowledge, it instilled me with confidence that I can follow the different roadmaps laid out by the author. On my next Amazon order I intend to include Mr. Dillehay's next book --- "How To Price Crafts And Things You Make To Sell".

Very helpful on how to start a woodworking business. Brought up things I never thought of. Great information.

Awesomeness. Amazing information. I didn’t know where to start but now I do. I’m excited for the next steps forward

I happened across this book while searching for woodworking tools on Amazon.I own a construction company at the moment but am planning to start a woodworking company as a side business. Being a business owner I already know a great deal of information about marketing ideas, record keeping, etc., but this book had a LOT of new, insightful ideas that I had never heard of or didn't appreciate the gravity of certain tactics.I definitely think this literature deserves a 5 star rating. It's extremely well organized and flows through topics very well, there are multiple links to different websites to help further grow your business, and most importantly for the busy SBO, it's not a long read and it's very to the point.Worth a read for anyone from the fledgling startup entrepreneur to the seasoned business veterans. 5/5 stars, highly recommend.

Lots of information in here, no b.s. he lays it down in black and white.

Great book for selling anything.
