The Rogue Artist's Art Marketing Guide: Put Yourself Out There (The Rogue Artist Series)

by: Rafi Perez (0)

This is a book for Artists and Creative humans. The Rogue Artist's Art Marketing Guide helps artists and creatives figure out unique and fun ways of putting themselves and their art out there.

Award-winning artist Rafi Perez brings his unique and silly experience and insight of marketing yourself as an artist using your own special brand of creativity. In this marketing guide, he discusses the mindsets and techniques he used to put himself out there and make money as an artist without typical marketing.

This unique book helps artists navigate the marketing world without all the boring lingo and techniques. Let's be honest, typical marketing sucks and can feel like a drag on the magic that makes you a creative person. That's because many marketing programs are geared toward boring products in a dog-eat-dog world. However, as an artist, writer, musician, or all-around awesome person, the art you create is not boring. So why use boring tactics that everyone else is using? This book will cover the creative power that we hold to put ourselves out there in a fun and powerful way.

This book:
• Features down-to-earth and encouraging advice from Rafi Perez • Examples and stories of his career as a full-time artist for over a decade and how he put himself out there.
• Techniques and mindsets Rafi has used to help him succeed financially.
• Answers the question, "can I have fun putting myself out there as an artist?"

An undisciplined, story-centric, off-beat, and honest approach to demystify marketing for artists. Don't follow the cookie-cutter courses that most art marketing "mentors" love to pawn off on artists who are desperate to understand marketing. This book is going to go against the grain of most typical artist marketing courses. I am going to defy the standard and go rogue and hopefully show you that marketing is not this mysterious thing that is beyond your understanding. My hope is that by the end of reading this book you will find that the most powerful, one-of-a-kind, and creative marketing can be fun and part of your unique creative journey.

This book can be:
• A self-help book for those looking for artistic mindset guidance.
• Great for those who enjoy reading empowering material that motivates them into action.
• An excellent gift for aspiring artists, musicians, writers, creatives, serious hobbyists, art students, makers, teachers, budding creative professionals, and fans of Rafi Was Here On YouTube.

I have learned so much real and honest information in this book. It’s about how to get out there and be an artist without losing who you are. Highly recommend this book to anyone who pursues their dream.

This book is filled with all the awesome artsy info you need

This book is great, lots of good information. I highly recommend this book, for all artists.

I love how this book addresses the unique needs of artists. It is written by an artist who has not only shared his knowledge but his experience. I also love the humorous illustrations throughout the book. It is so great to be able have a book that provides helpful tidbits that empower artists to follow their own path rather than follow a bunch of marketing rules. As a beginner artist, I highly recommend this book for everyone who is trying to figure all this art stuff out.

Rafi has a unique way of looking at ways to market yourself and your artistic endeavors. He breaks it down in easy to understand, sometimes humorous ways! Love his series!

This book is hands down the best reference for artists trying to manage the whole "marketing" situation. The information is extremely helpful, extremely easy to digest, and just. Wow. So much wow.But it's also not rocket surgery. It's lighthearted, fun, inspiring, and says over and over - you got this. You totally got this. You can and are doing it already.Rafi is an amazing human. His book includes doodles and drawings from multiple artists who are part of the Rogue Fam. And there is so much heart and soul in this book, seriously, it's worth its weight in gold.Five out of five stars, do recommend to a friend... and a stranger, an acquaintance, and literally anyone who will listen to me sing its praises. Because it is TOTAL AWESOMENESS.Even if you're not sure if you want to become a professional artist, even if it's a fun hobby. This book is amazing and a resource worthy of your shelf space. Cannot say enough. The physical book itself is also very sturdy - if you're the type to scribble notes in the margins, get paint on it, drop it repeatedly, etc... it will hold up in even a rough studio environment. You'd be crazy to not get it! And the supplemental books available ad well? Chefs kiss!

As with the whole series, this book is just good no non-sense information to help you through the muck. Highly recommend it to anyone who is considering stepping out there.

If you're an artist, or looking to become one, you'll eventually want to sort out how to sell your work. And once you start looking a marketing for professional artists, you'll be flooded with promises by experts on how to magically grow your art business - and they will nearly always spiral into the same "expert" advice: buy ads on social media.Or, for the cost of a great book, you can learn how to organically grow your own market. It takes time, yes, but you can build a following by putting yourself out there. The Rogue Artist's Art Marketing guide will give you great strategies that you can incorporate today, that will put you on a path to get your work out in front of people.Along the way you will be treated to many real and often entertaining stories about Rafi's own experience in building a robust follower base.As a professional artist myself, I am on this same mission - getting my story and my work out into the world. I've followed Rafi and Klee on their YouTube channel for several years, and have found them both to be forthcoming and honest about the trials faced by artists who are either just starting out, or who wish to expand their art business in a smart way that isn't just a flash in the pan. They've shared many of their techniques on their YouTube channel and they have been distilled down into this wonderful book.Building an audience as an artist is a marathon, not a sprint, and it takes more than just throwing cash at social media ads. Social media advertising has its place and can yield results, but you will burn through a lot of money without gaining significant long-term gain. It's merely one tool in the toolbox, and a pretty specific tool at that.So I highly recommend the Rogue Artist's Art Marketing Guide. It's an excellent resource that you'll return to many times, and it's got some great stories. Thank you, and best of luck to you on your journey. We're all Rogue Artists!

There is a fair amount of marketing philosophy, especially in the first half of the book, but more tangible advice later. The message is always positive but not so much so that it will raise your blood sugar. And finally, Rafi offers advice without trying to sell you an additional course.

I've been putting myself out there with the help of Rafi. Steady gain in sales. I think I just may like selling my art, but I'd never know until I tried. Thanks for the inspiration, Rafi!

This is a great guide for any artist who is trying to figure out how they want to market their work. Also helps artists/creatives "make their peace with" marketing their work. This helped me a lot.

Rafi presents real truth in marketing art to the world. Extremely honest without the empty slogans so many other marketers push.

It’s an easy to read book. It’s advice from someone who has gotten through hurdles that I’m currently up against. It’s a book I’ll read multiple times.
